International Games (IG) is one of the main sports events organised by Nanyang Technological University Student's Union (NTUSU) for all NTU students as well as NTU Alumni. It is considered as the Mini-Olympic of NTU. The purpose of this event is to promote the solidarity and understanding among NTU students through the sporting spirit.
IG was first initiated and organised by the VNNTU. Realizing its significance, in 2006 Student Affairs Office (SAO) and NTUSU decided to transform it to an annual event here.

The aims of this event are:

- Passion
IG serves as a medium for NTU students to develop their passion towards sports and recreational games and promotes the spirit of sportsmanship.

- Friendship
IG tightens solidarity and friendship among students from different countries and backgrounds.

- Unity
IG strengthens bond among students in NTU as a bridge between local and international students.

In 2009, NTUSU proposes to hold the ICTF accordingly with IG catering to International communities on campus under a unified banner called "International Month".
